Neelam Patel, MD
Neelam Patel is a board-certified dermatologist. She grew up in Clarksville and graduated from Clarksville High School. While completing her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, she was one of a select few who were accepted into Vanderbilt Medical School early acceptance. She completed her dermatology training at the University of Mississippi.
Her passion for golf inspired has her career. She is particularly interested in sun protection, skin cancer prevention, anti-aging and rejuvenation therapies. Dr. Patel believes that skin is a reflection of overall health. Her goal is to educate patients on how to best protect their skin and maintain a healthy and youthful complexion. With Dr. Patel you can get excellent service and an experience that will make you want to come back.
Through her father who has been in practice (next door) in Clarksville for 30 years she understands the importance of the physician – patient relationship.
Kati Orten, PA-C
Physician Assistant – Dermatology
Kati Orten is a certified physician assistant with over four years of clinical experience across family medicine, emergency medicine, and dermatology. A Clarksville native, she graduated from Rossview High School before earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She completed her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Lincoln Memorial University.
Kati is board-certified by the NCCPA and is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is passionate about early skin cancer detection and preventive dermatologic care, approaching each patient visit with thoughtfulness and precision. Thorough and detail-oriented, Kati ensures that no concern is overlooked. She’s known for doing the right thing for patients and delivering care with sincerity and excellence.
Outside work hours, Kati enjoys walking and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their dog, Cooper.

Haylie Hendrickson, PA-C
Physician Assistant – Dermatology
Haylie Hendrickson is a certified physician assistant with a strong foundation in aesthetics and a growing focus on dermatology. She brings a vibrant, approachable energy to the clinic and is known for her warm smile, steady hands, and genuine enthusiasm for helping patients look and feel their best.
Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Haylie was raised with Midwestern values such as thoughtfulness, humility, and a strong work ethic. Now a happy transplant to the South, she’s especially at home thanks to her love of country music and warm weather.
Haylie earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of Arizona, where she also competed as a Division I collegiate gymnast. She completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Evansville in Indiana.
Before transitioning to dermatology, Haylie worked for one year in aesthetics and plastic surgery, developing an eye for detail and a passion for skin health. She now blends that experience into medical and cosmetic dermatology with a thoughtful, patient-first approach. Her kindness, passion for dermatology, and strong clinical instincts make her an exceptional addition to the team.
Outside of work, Haylie enjoys spending time with her dog, Indie, running, working out, and traveling whenever she can.
